Conditional Logic and adding components is great but the design is terribleFor such a high price this plugin really lacks on the frontend. It really doesn't look great, there are some UX issues (e.g. displaying the red asterix and "Optional" in big red letters for optional products is confusing... you should reserve that for Required components only) and the customisation options are somewhat limited in terms of how it displays to customers (e.g. you can't decide whether or not to display the SKU and product description). Also the conditional logic to hide a component doesn't work with the step layout. The conditional logic and setting up components is mostly fine, but a free plugin I have used has way more customisation options. It just didn't have the conditional logic that I needed which is the only reason why I have used this one.

Does this plugin work with variable products?

The plugin supports variable products and you can add them as components to a composite product, but a composite product cannot be variable since ‘variable’ and ‘composite’ are two different product types.

Does the plugin have the functionality to change/replace product image based on the components selected by the user on the frontend?

Yes, it has the option to replace the product image with the thumbnail of the component selected. This option is available when adding the component to the composite product.

Is it possible to manage the stock of the components?

Yes, it is possible since WooCommerce manages the composite products like any other product added to the cart.

Does it have a conditional logic option?

The plugin allows you to create a net of dependencies to which you can assign a name and a description and specify how the components are going to interact with each other.

Can this plugin apply a discount to products inside the composite builder?

Yes, if you enable the option “Per-item pricing”, the plugin allows setting a percentage discount for each component of the composite product.
